Reiki is a gentle technology of healing. It can address the body, the mind, or the
spirit and means "universal life energy" in Japanese. As an applied "touch therapy", it passes through one person to
another, or to oneself.
The graduated workshops offer the training and initiations in the practice of Reiki which allow for a reawakening,
a reopening of the channels of healing within all of us. This, then, can become an effortless way to give loving energy
by means of our hands.
As one opens to this healing, the Reiki treatment applications also help both the giver and receiver of
Reiki by: bringing a sense of balance to one's life, providing a path to peace and fulfillment, relieving pains, healing
suppressed grief and trauma, alleviating chronic illness through extended treatments, accelerating the healing following medical
or holistic treatments, and enhancing the healing for the emotional and the mental levels, thus facilitating and encouraging
spiritual growth as well.
Reiki, an energy form which naturally surrounds and sustains us, is universally available for all to learn
and to use. Anyone young or old can give and receive it. It can also be easily given to oneself. In fact,
recent scientific observations verify its benefit to all life forms.
Reiki is a simple, time-tested means of healing that is effective and powerful even as it is gentle.
*First Degree Reiki Workshop
four evenings or a weekend workshop
This workshop teaches all the information needed to give a Reiki treatment to oneself and to others. Participants
are given the hand positions and four initiations which open and attune the healing channels. The practice of giving
and receiving Reiki is experienced in this "safe touch" environment. This workshop allows an immersion within this healing
energy. - Cost $150 -
Second Degree Reiki Workshop
Prerequisite: First Degree Workshop (see above)
three evenings or a weekend workshop
This workshop is for those who wish to deepen their internal exploration with Reiki and to share its healing capacity
with and for others. Participants are given specific symbols which significantly increase the flow of the Reiki energy.
Included at this level is technology to begin to balance one's internal and external worlds, send Reiki at a "distance", along
with the introduction to deeper mental levels of clearing and healing. - Cost $500 -
Reiki Master
Prerequisite: First & Second Degree Workshops (see above)

...about receiving Individual Reiki Sessions
You lay fully-clothed on a comfortable Reiki table and 'receive' healing energy. I place my hands
on specific areas of your body and Reiki begins to 'flow'. Sessions are 1 1/2 to 2 hours in hours in length. You
may experience the sensations of an infusion of Reiki energy such as: heat vibration, unusual heaviness, sudden
joy and lightness, acute sensory awareness or simply peace... often lasting well after even one Reiki Session.

Sessions
A Reiki Session can be scheduled no matter where you or I may be physically in the world.
An appointment is scheduled, there is a few minute telephone conversation before the energy work begins. Depending on
your intention, there may be an additional several minute telephone conversation after the energy work is complete.

These seminars are individually personalized in 4 consecutive sessions (or 4 weekly sessions), each
1 hour in length. A "one-to-one design allows for mentoring to happen as the student more deeply explores the internal
qualities of the personalized journey paralleling the healing process of Reiki. This seminar is open to those
with Usui Reiki Training.
